Lynggården, Køge

A spacious area with multiple play zones

In the city of Køge, the housing association Lynggården, showcases multiple impressive play zones within their shared spaces, each catering to specific age groups with age appropriate play activities.

The first play zone has a special focus on the older age groups. The playground includes play equipment from several of our theme worlds, which makes it filled with thematic details from the deep jungle to far out on the sea. The adventurous playground therefore encourages creativity and role-playing, whilst also being challenging for the older children’s motor skills, as our big play system Saldor and Nathalie pirate ship are filled with physical activities.

The second play zone is an ideal space where imagination can be set free. Here you will find the eye catching Dagonet play system from LEDONs Castle theme world encourages role playing, while giving children the opportunity to challenge and develop their skills. This play system offers activities such as a vertical climbing wall, somersault bar, tube slide and a wobbly bridge.

The younger children can interact with the play activities at ground level, such as the treasure chest and key.

The third play zone is a play universe specifically designed with the younger children (ages 0-7) in mind, and blends Miniplay and Explore theme worlds together. Children can play with sensory elements like sand panels, the cozy Alfred hut, and a giraffe springer that supports balance and coordination. Vibrant colors and interactive features encourage curiosity and exploration.

BørneUniverset, Hobro

A complete solution for BørneUniverset’s many outdoor areas

The newly built day care institution BørneUniverset needed playgrounds for all their outdoor areas. The institution’s wish was that all areas should invite children to play and support their natural development. Here with a focus on sensory integration, movement and opportunities for immersion.

Haslevgade, Herning

Active fun for the smallest princes and princesses

Haslevgade in Herning in central Jutland now has a genuine Castle playground, with a play system featuring the Castle series’ characteristic red towers and dungeon. Next to it is a springer in the form of the knight’s faithful companion, and finally the large modular swing set provides plenty of opportunities for having a swing.

The municipality’s old playground was spread across a large area, and a greater sense of coherence was therefore needed, also to facilitate upkeep. From the point of view of upkeep, it is also an advantage that our play equipment is made of low-maintenance and recyclable materials.

As the area is popular with childminders, it also had to be possible for smaller children to use the playground. These needs were met with a layout that focused on making the most of the available space. The choice fell on the Bodiam play system, because it has a low floor height and a ramp, which makes it accessible for younger children. Bodiam also features a number of different play activities so that several children can be engaged simultaneously. For example a dungeon, a bird’s nest and a slide.

The modular swing set with room for four different swing seats is also ideal for children of all ages. The municipality chose a baby swing seat and our safety swing seats so children of many ages can enjoy having a swing and everything else that this exciting play ground has to offer.

Note: A swing seat from an existing swing set has been fitted. Therefore, it does not appear in the product overview.

No knights without horses

The prince on the white horse. That’s the usual line. But in the maintenance-free LEDON Castle universe everything is a bit more colourful and fun. And this is the reason why the horses have red, blue and yellow caparisons. Most importantly, however, they are ready to ride out into the world with steely eyes and the necessary head protection.

Springers stimulate balance and motor skills

The horses in the LEDON Castle universe are indispensable for princes wanting to whisk their princesses away from the tower. While children love the dynamic motion, the springers stimulate their sense of causality as well as their vestibular sense, which in turn strengthens their balance and learning abilities.

Carefully combined play equipment

The stepping stones in the LEDON Castle universe are proof that one plus one gives much more than two. If placed, for example, by the knight’s shield with the spinning sword, children will discover completely new dimensions to their play. With symbols taken from the knight’s castle, the stepping stones stimulate children’s imagination and language learning.

Heights for large and small

With four different heights, it is possible to create a balancing course for children of all ages. Perhaps they can be used to jump over the moat, or play ‘the floor is lava’? The stepping stones train balance, motor skills and coordination – the perfect challenges for little princes and princesses.

The wide suspension bridge with boards ensures that even small and diffident feet can dash across to the lookout barrel, where the movable telescope can be used to look out across the entire playground.

Fun play panels support children’s natural development

The prison, the movable ship’s wheel and sword and all the other play panels stimulate children’s senses, fine motor skills and language development. Lots of space for strong knights and proud princesses

Merlin is a fabulous play environment featuring numerous motor challenges. Children’s cross-coordination as well as their arm and leg muscles are put to the test as they cross the swaying bridges, crawl through the rope tunnel, scale the climbing net or swing by their arms along the hanging bars from tower to tower. Cross-body movements involving both the arms and legs are important for a child’s natural development. It helps to stimulate neural activity between the two sides of the brain, which in turn strengthens the child’s learning abilities, for example when learning to read and write.

A castleful of play value

Merlin is one of the three-tower castles in the Castle series and will put even the most energetic princes and princesses to the test. In addition to the rope tunnel, Merlin features a climbing net, hanging bars, a slide, a swaying, sloping suspension bridge and also a hanging prison. Merlin’s roofs also contribute to the overall experience. The sunlight shines down through the yellow and red panes in the roof windows, projecting hopscotch patterns onto the ground as the sun travels across the sky. The shadows change, while the children’s faces are alternately illuminated yellow and red. Merlin is a genuine knight’s castle universe, which supports children’s natural development.
