Featuring four towers, Tristan is one of the biggest models by far in the LEDON Castle series. It requires a large area of approx. 12 x 12 metres, but in return offers infinite play opportunities for children of all ages. The knight’s castle is divided into zones, so that children of different ages can play simultaneously on different activities without disturbing each other. Tristan offers a wide range of age-appropriate activities designed to support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, motor and, not least, physical development.
A sensory swing, hanging prison, rope tunnel, slides and swaying and sloping bridges guarantee hours of play and fun. All the towers are designed with non-slip platforms, and so are ideal places to catch your breath. Tristan also features a lookout barrel, telescope, treasure chests, and many movable parts designed to stimulate children’s fine motor skills. The climbing wall panel tests children’s gross motor skills and cross-coordination – cross-body movements involving both the arms and legs are important for a child’s natural development. It helps to stimulate neural activity between the two sides of the brain, which in turn strengthens the child’s learning abilities, for example when learning to read and write.
