A rope ladder leads up to the triangular non-slip platform, which has a floor height of 140 cm. LC200 Two play towers in one Morgan le Fay comprises two interconnected towers with triangular platforms. The result is a large model on a relatively small area – 9 x 6 metres. The towers are connected by a suspension bridge, which tests children’s sense of balance before a well-earned ride down the slide at the end. Gordon Avenue Play Area In Winchester, Britain, a large playground with different play structures for children of all ages is established. The playground has, among other things, play structures from LEDON’s Castle theme world. The big castle lights up with its beautiful roofs, which reflects lights onto the ground in certain areas. The areas is often used in games like the floor is lava. The Coaster and Windsurfer sets the scene and ignites role-playing games about being at sea and conquering the castle of the city. Legehuset Gram-Arnum The house of culture in Arnum has built a large LEDON Castle playground. The playground has to accommodate all of the children in the city, as well as function as a playground for the city’s kindergarten. The dream was a modern playground, which is low maintenance.
Hallingparken, Brøndby In 2019, Hallingparken in Brøndby wanted to change their old playground to a more contemporary and maintenance-free one. The most important thing for the housing association Brøndby Strand was that the children found it fun, which is why they were allowed to vote on the playground they wanted the most. The children went with a big Castle playground that has room for children of all ages. Vølunden, Holbæk The children have chosen LEDON’s playground In Vølunden in the Danish city Holbæk, West Zealand’s public housing association has built new family homes, which are being completed by a nice new playground. The children have been involved in the decision making and have chosen a Pirates/Castle playground. Mette Engel, who is project manager for Vølunden, adds that the playground has been chosen by the housing association’s children as part of resident democracy: We let them choose between three different playgrounds. This makes them feel a sense of ownership, which will result in them taking better care of the playground. I get many positive responses from there, and a little girl already said at the inauguration: ‘I love my playground’. In the playtower Balin the little pirates can keep a lookout through the colourful windows or they can take a trip down the slide. It is only the imagination that sets the limit to the games.
