A small play environment with space for several children

Bodiam is designed for toddlers aged two years and upwards. The system boasts many play activities in a limited space – Bodiam requires an area of approx. 7.5 x 7.3 metres. The non-slip steps provide safe access to the tower, which offers views of the surroundings through the coloured panes in both the window and the torches. Bodiam also features a hanging prison and a sensory swing, where children love to gather or hide. The sensory swing is also known as a bird’s nest swing. Playing on unsteady ground

Both the hanging prison and the sensory swing are suspended above the ground. This stimulates children’s motor development and balance, while firing up their imagination. By exercising a certain amount of dexterity, the prison key can be moved between several positions, and inspire role-play and social interaction between the children. In the sensory swing, children can recover after a spell behind bars. Children develop their sense of balance on the unsteady surfaces.
