A pirate ship as the main attraction

In the Finnish town of Raahe, a need arose for a playground near the town hall, as the area lacked proper facilities for play and a place to gather for the town's youngest residents. As the city is located on the coast, the theme of the playground had to be the sea, and they also wished for one piece of equipment to be the main attraction.

Play equipment from our theme world LEDON pirates, was therefore the perfect solution. The main attraction became one of our largest pirate ships with an added rope tunnel. The ship has different zones filled with play activities, which means that it can accommodate many children at once and is suitable for a wide age group of children. The pirate universe was completed by a treasure island filled with activities, springers in the form of a shark and whale and lastly a parrot slide.

The combination of the playground sand and the blue poured-in-place rubber surfacing also helps to establish the pirate world and the maritime theme. The children are therefore easily transported into their role-playing games from the first glance.

As a result, the area around the town hall has become a meeting point for the city's children, where they can let loose on the playground and explore the sea.
