The play system stimulates motor skills

The children move full speed ahead when they whiz down the tunnel slide or climb over the suspension bridge on the playground belonging to the housing association Domea at Søvænget in Rødekro.

Here they have constructed a playground that consists of LEDON’s big Zulu playsystem, the Off-Roader, a large module swing frame and the butterfly seesaw.

When the children climb on the playground they make a lot of cross-body movements, which strengthens their arms and legs as well as the interaction between the two sides of the brain. Generally it is good for the children’s coordination and balance to be active and get rosy cheeks on the new playground. And they can use their acquired motor skills when they have to go to school and for example learn math.
