Arthur is a hexagonally shaped castle offering a wealth of fun and perfect for playing ‘tag’ or ‘the floor is lava’, for example. At the same time, there are multiple play experiences to be had between the towers. Arthur features a full range of play equipment – play panels, swaying and sloping bridges, a lookout barrel with a movable telescope, hanging bars and much more. Through yellow and red transparent panes in the roof windows, hopscotch patterns are projected onto the ground as the sun travels across the sky. This is also an ideal feature for playing ‘the floor is lava’.
Arthur’s six towers are connected by swaying and sloping suspension bridges where you have to grab the ropes to keep your balance. And getting through the rope tunnel and up the climbing net and climbing wall panel and across the hanging bars takes a lot of crawling and cross-coordination. Cross-body movements stimulate neural activity between the two sides of the brain, which is also very important for children’s learning capacity.
