Pelleas is a real knight’s castle universe for children of all ages. Pelleas is packed with age-appropriate play activities at all levels. The three towers will put children through their paces, for example testing their gross motor skills to the limit on the swaying, sloping suspension bridges and in the rope tunnel. All the movable parts, for example around the treasure chest, stimulate fine motor skills, but also trigger the imagination and encourage role-play, letting children learn the first social rules, test boundaries and try their hand at conflict-solving. Moreover, the Pelleas play system also features a hanging prison, several different play panels at ground level, a lookout barrel with a movable telescope, a slide and much more.
The smallest children can access the play structure via the tower with the extra low step. With a floor height of only 40 cm, even the youngest toddlers can join in the fun. Older children can make their way up through the challenging rope tunnel. This calls for extensive cross-body movements involving both the arms and legs, which in turn stimulates neural activity between the two sides of the brain, strengthening the children’s learning abilities, for example when learning to read and write.
