Description

Seesawing with friends

LEDON Original’s range of seesaws come in different shapes and designs, for example animals. They seat 2-4 children. Common to them all is that they require the children to cooperate to get the seesaw going. Whether riding the Butterfly, the Octopus or the Sun, they have to take it in turns to push off with their legs and shoot upwards.

Seesawing is a great source of fun and also encourages children to cooperate. However, it also helps to train children’s major muscle groups and improve body awareness as well as strengthening their balance and coordination.

The seesaws are all made of low-maintenance materials with ergonomic nylon handles that minimise the risk of dental damage and ensure that children’s hands do not stick to them in frosty weather.

1/6

Ergonomic handles

The handles are ergonomically designed and minimise the risk of eye and dental injuries.

2/6

Non-slip surface

A 3 mm thick rubber coating on the seat ensures that children sit securely – even when seesawing wildly.

3/6

Nylon fibre parts

All fibre parts are made of nylon to prevent fingers from sticking in sub-zero conditions. All parts are low-maintenance, impact-resistant in all temperatures and UV-stabilised to prevent colour-fading.

4/6

Trains the vestibular sense

When seesawing, playing on the swings and balancing, children train their vestibular sense. This has a bearing on their language and basic motor development as well as their movement and concentration. Children with a strong vestibular sense are more open to new challenges.

5/6

Springs with patented tensioning

The spring is designed to prevent fingers from getting caught. At the same time, our patented tensioning system ensures a long service life with minimal risk of breakage. The spring is also galvanised and lacquered to protect against rust.

6/6

Cause and effect

Interacting with the movement of the play equipment makes children more aware of the relationship between cause and effect. This is an important part of supporting their logical sense.
