Description

Spinners for the playground

Orbit is our largest spinner – and the large surface allows several children to have a ride together. Because it is relatively low, children can either sit down on it or lie on their tummies and turn round.

Spinning supports children’s development. It improves their sense of balance and motor skills, as they have to hold onto the spinner while increasing the speed at which they are spinning. Their spatial intelligence is also put to the test when spinning round and round. Children with a high level of spatial intelligence are better at assessing distance and speed as well as forming an overview. These are key abilities when navigating traffic.

Orbit is available in either red or green, so you can choose the colour that best suits your playground. See the model in green.

1/6

Red or green lacquer

The play equipment is available in either red or green. The two variants allow you to choose the colour according to your wishes and requirements.

2/6

Trains the vestibular sense

When seesawing, playing on the swings and balancing, children train their vestibular sense. This has a bearing on their language and basic motor development as well as their movement and concentration. Children with a strong vestibular sense are more open to new challenges.

3/6

Cause and effect

Interacting with the movement of the play equipment makes children more aware of the relationship between cause and effect. This is an important part of supporting their logical sense.

4/6

Strengthens gross motor skills

Children use their major muscle groups and strengthen their gross motor skills when playing on the play equipment. Gross motor skills are vital for both their basic motor development as well as their fine motor skills.

5/6

Trains balance and coordination

Children use their whole body to keep their balance and coordinate their movements on the play equipment. Balance and coordination are fundamental to children’s physical and cognitive development, and it is therefore important that they are stimulated from an early age.

6/6

Collaboration and communication

Children train their collaborative and communication skills when playing together on the equipment. How wild shall the ride be? And which way shall we go?
